Happy 50th Birthday Mom!

If you happened to catch the Today Show segment on IWearYourShirt, you may have heard the reporter mention that my mom has purchased her birthday each year. Well, 2012 is no different except it’s her 50th BIRTHDAY this year! 

My mom (Kelly Sadler) is one heck of a lady. I know, I know, you guys have great moms too, but my mom and I have been through so much together. I’ve learned so many life lessons from her and I continue to do so every day of my life. My mom has had her fair share of health issues and bumps in the road in her life, but that’s never gotten her down. She’s taught me that life has plenty of ups and plenty of downs, but family is one thing that you can always count on. 

All my mom asked the IWYS team to do today was pick a favorite charity or non-profit organization and talk about them. I’m sharing an organization my mom volunteers for – American Cancer Society. Learn about all the great things the ACS is doing to help find a cure for cancer and help those affected by it (feel free to donate as well).
